I love this beautiful pendant that so wonderfully shows the precious life in the womb at 6 weeks gestation. Incredible reminder of how intricately woven by God’s hand each life is. I love that this is hand crafted and designed for a purpose. The designer has a passion for his work and for the meaning behind it. How is this Pendant made? These pendants are created by skilled craftspersons using lost wax casting. First, the model is 3d printed in a wax like material using a specialized high-resolution 3D Printer. It is then put in a container where liquid plaster is poured in around it. Once the plaster sets, the wax is melted out in a furnace, and the remaining plaster becomes the mold. Molten metal is poured into this mold and set to harden. Finally, the plaster is broken away revealing your new pendant. The pendant is cut free from the excess material created during the casting process and polished to achieve a matte somewhat textured finish.
